It’s hard to believe Craft Beers Delivered is turning two years old already! We opened our digital doors back in July 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic as a sister site to Celtic Whiskey Shop and to promote our budding craft beer range. Back then, we stocked quite the collection of limited edition and hard-to-find beers, and now today, we’ve broken the 800 beers mark and keep on pushing forward! Will we hit 1,000 unique beers stocked by the year’s end — oh you better believe we plan on doing it so let’s make that dream happen! 


We’d like to take this opportunity to raise a glass (or can!) to each and every one of you hop heads, craft beer enthusiasts, cider fans, and everything in-between for your continued patronage over these past two wonderful years. This journey would not be possible without you. You’re the ones who keep the lights on and the shelves stocked with all our favourites brews from around the world. It means so much to all of us here at Craft Beers Delivered HQ, so, from the bottom of our hearts here in CBD HQ, thank you.

Craft Beers Delivered at Whiskey Live Dublin 2022


This year, we were delighted to have been part of the unbelievable event that is Whiskey Live Dublin. We joined 80+ producers from all around Ireland and abroad and had the opportunity after two years of COVID to finally meet some of you in person and chat about our favourite thing: quality craft beers! (We hope we didn’t burn the ears off you too much and that you enjoyed some of the range we brought along!) We had a wonderful time and hope we served our role as a nice palate cleanser after all that incredible whiskey that was on display. Are we making plans for next year’s event? You bet we are!




Lets Fund It Charity Collaboration 


This year, we are proud to announce we’ve partnered up with Irish charity Let's Fund It to bring you a brand-new Fantasy Premier League Mini-League: Booze or Lose - Fantasy Premier League! Let’s Fund It was set up in 2019 by four friends from Co. Limerick with the common goal to support registered Irish charities in their work. Let’s Fund It uses donated funds to purchase good(s) and/or service(s) on the charity’s behalf. In this way, they can ensure that funds it receives through donations are being spent directly to benefit Irish charities and their service users. The charity has worked in bringing vital services and equipment to important charities across Ireland such as Pieta, Alone, St John’s Hospital, Rehab Care, WRI Wildlife Hospital, and many more.

When we heard about their amazing work and their upcoming Booze or Lose Fantasy Premier League, we knew it was something we wanted to help with. 

So, what is Booze Or Lose? Booze or Lose is a fantasy premier league for the upcoming season to put your FPL skills to the test! All money raised is donated to the Irish charity Let’s Fund It. Limited Editions Galore 


We would be here until this time next year (at least!) if we sat down and wrote about each and every limited edition beer that has graced our shelves over the past two years. We’ve seen some truly stunning brews from this Galway Bay Diving Bell 2021, Wicklow Wolf Pointy Shoes 2021, Rascals x Club Shandy Pale Ale, new release in Wicklow Wolf’s Locavore Series across 2020 - 2022, new releases in Kinnegar’s Brewers At Play series, and oh so many more. We’ve put our name down for allocations of some amazing upcoming releases all your favourite breweries are working hard on so be sure to check back here regularly and follows us on social media as we’ll be sure to let you know once they arrive!



 

Our Very First Collaboration 


So far, we’ve been busy chatting about 2022 and late 2021, but it wouldn’t be a highlight reel if we didn’t chat about our very first collaboration with DOT Brew: Hibernation Sensation! 


Sadly, this beer has fully sold out but if you got to try it (such as in our Christmas Craft Beer Advent Calendar!), then you know what a cracking beer this one was. 

Hibernation Sensation (made in collaboration with DOT Brew) was an oh-so-delicious Imperial Stout of which 80% was aged in ex-15 Year Old Single Malt ex-PX Sherry cask for 10 months and then 20% aged in an Irish blended whiskey ex-dark rum cask for 6 months. At a hefty 9.7%, this was a brew bursting full of flavour. Think dried fruits, caramel, nutty notes, a wisp of dark chocolate, and a smooth and complex finish. P.S. Also, we may or may not have some other collabs coming up in the near future (we don’t want to spoil the surprises just yet!) 


Upcoming surprises and more 


We’ve a few exciting things we’re hoping to announce later this year so be sure to keep an eye out! One we can’t wait to announce is the third annual release of our Christmas Craft Beer Advent Calendar! We’ve already started planning (and set aside some cracking surprise beers!) and can’t wait to be able to announce it. Keep an eye out for late October when pre-orders will go live. We’ve taken notes over the past two releases, started setting aside some big releases we simply have to include, and believe us, for certain this one is going to be truly exceptional. 


So, for our two year anniversary, we’re raising a glass to each and every one of you. Let’s see what fun and excitement (and quality craft beers) the next two years and more will bring! Cheers and beers!
