Eight Degrees

Eight Degrees was founded by Kiwi Scott Baigent and Aussie Cam Wallace back in 2010 in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. At the foot of the Galtee Mountains, the pair began brewing and experimenting and launched their trademark Howling Gale Irish Pale Ale at the 2011 EasterFest to rave reviews. The pair have since gone on to hone their brand and company, and now employ 10 in their Munster based brewery. Their range of drinks is extensive, including their Sunburnt Irish Red Ale and Knockmealdown Irish Stout. And the name? It originates from the eight degrees west longitude that Ireland is located, and coincidently happens to be the perfect serving temperature for their beers.
