Nestled close to the shores of Lough Gill, Co. Sligo is Lough Gill Brewery. Established in 2016 by James Ward, this independent family run brewery is the first brewery to open in Sligo in just over 100 years, in a town which was once home to five of them. Since opening their doors, the team have continued to produce high quality, exciting beers, ranging from bold stouts to brave sours.

Beer Description

Shamrock Irish Breakfast Stout is a bold and flavourful stout that captures the essence of Irish brewing tradition. Crafted with Irish barley malt and a blend of seven specialty malts, this 7.5% ABV stout delivers deep roasted notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and espresso.

Infused with freshly roasted and ground coffee beans before packaging, Shamrock offers a full-bodied, rich sipping experience perfect for slow enjoyment. Robust and warming, it pairs beautifully with hearty dishes, chocolate desserts, or simply enjoyed as an indulgent after-dinner beer.
