Augustiner

The Augustiner brewery is the oldest brewery in Munich, dating back to 1328, and the last privately owned one. For almost 500 years, the friars brewed their Augustiner beer directly in the monastery and sold it in the monastery tavern popular with Munich residents. While it is no longer brewed by monks, the recipes and feel of their beers haven't changed much. True classic brews for a good reason if you ask us!
